St Stephen’s Cathedral – Walk out of Stephansplatz metro station, and you are in the Stephansplatz square. One of the tallest churches in the world, you just cant miss it. Or not be awed by it.
Walking down the shopping streets Graben, and Kärntner Straße, I landed in this relatively quiet square, and gaped at the beautiful architecture.
Yes, I know its touristy, but you can’t but feel gleeful when you see a merry go-around a midst all the superimposing architecture.
and of course sausages!
Yes, I know they are buildings, but look at the style and the architecture, and the sheer variety of colors and carvings. Pretty, isn’t it?
And if architecture is not enough, you have the arts – Ballet!

and if you think Vienna is all snooty, it’s not! I came across this really funky hotel right next to an old theater. I walked into the lobby, and the lady reception was really busy, but she was friendly, and guided me to the theater where the Opera was held.
